Jeanetta C. Powell leads at the intersection of sacred music, education, and community, bringing more than 20 years of experience uniting the Black church, the classroom, and the concert stage. Jeanetta founded Bull City Music School, where Durham’s children, families, and adults learn in a tradition that treats Black church music as foundational, and Standing Ovations, a consulting practice serving churches and arts organizations.
